 Restricted Content

1. Child Endangerment

Apps that do not prevent users from creating, uploading, sharing content that is harmful to children ( adult content , photo etc. ) will be immediately removed from Google Play.

In addition, apps that appeal to children but contain adult themes are not allowed.

In other words, if someone is luring a young child and then sends adult content, or asks them to share, or reproduce it through photos, videos, or establish a relationship with them Or tries to do or inspires to do. This is how an app is removed from Google Play.

2. Inappropriate Content

Apps that allow users to gamble with real money or sell drugs. Allowing the sale of illegal drugs, promoting sexual photos and videos, promoting violence, where users mistreat or mock someone's color, height, etc. Apps that encourage users to mock someone's faith or religion, insult someone's religion, promote the sale of weapons like bullets, teach how to make bombs, or conspire to attack someone as a group, or promote mutual insults, etc. Such apps are immediately removed from Google Play.

In App Experience

1Some features we have added to our app are not working. We thought that we will correct this in the next update or add the feature in the next update, and submitted our app to the Play Store. In this situation, play store will reject our app because all the features in our app are not working, which will irritate the user.

2. Sometimes we do not check our app thoroughly and we believe that our app is working perfectly and we submit it to the play store. When play store team reviews our app they  find that the app is getting crushed. In such a situation also play store has rejected our app.

3. Since Android 13 has arrived, Google is constantly providing updates related to Android security, which ensures the security of user data. If we put any permission in the app which is not required by our app, then the play store will reject that app.

Ads Policy

We all make apps so that we can earn money. We all have three options to earn money from apps:

1 In app purchase
2 Ads
3 Paid promotions

1.In app purchase - Most of the people use in app purchase so that they can earn money but most of the users don't take any interest in the app so in this case we have to use option 2.

2. Ads - Developers don't earn much from paid promotions so in this case developers put ads in the app so that they can earn money.

Now Google is saying that you should not put ads in such a place that the user deletes your app. If the user deletes the app, it not only causes you loss but also the Google Play market goes down. After the advent of AI, Google's market has gone down a lot, that's why Google wants only those apps to remain on its app store.

Here are some examples explaining the ad policy:

(a) If you implement ads at a place which causes problems to the user, then Google Play will reject your app.

Example - When using back button (There are three buttons in navigation button out of which one is back button)

(b) Suppose you have set a cancel button or image in your app on clicking which user can cancel the running task but as soon as user clicks on the cancel button ads are displayed. If this condition is met in your app then Google Play will remove your app.

It does not matter which company's ads you put, what matters is that the company follows Google Play's policy. You have to keep this in mind.

User ratings, reviews and installs

This mistake is often made by new developers so that they can get their app installed on the play store. Let's understand it in detail.

Many times developers use the tips given by some youtubers. In the video it is told to force users to install the app as many times as possible. Or it is told in the video that if the rating of the app is 4 or more then the app comes in a good category, force users for this or offer a discount so that users give your app 5 stars. If you make this mistake then there is almost 90% chance of your app getting rejected.

Meta Data

Many times new developers make this mistake.

If you make any such app in which there is a emoji or the app icon has a badge, exclamation mark etc. which you use to fool the users so that the users install your app as much as possible. If you do this then Play Store feels that you are fooling the users, in such a condition Google Play will reject your app.
